Although much attention has been paid to averting the risks of secondary traumatic stress amongst clinicians, many non-mental-health-related professions--including law enforcement, quality control, and trauma research—involve exposure to other persons' traumas. This session will provide practical skills for protecting ourselves and colleagues from STS, applicable to a range of contexts.
