Mission & Scope

Trauma Psychology News (TPN) is a publication of American Psychological Association Division 56, Trauma Psychology, and is currently published three times a year. It is a resource regarding advances in theory, research, clinical practice, and policy within the field of trauma psychology as well as a forum for sharing Division 56 news and information about professional activities and opportunities.

TPN is distributed to the entire Division 56 membership, which includes academics, clinicians, students, and affiliates who share a common interest in trauma psychology, as well as to interested parties via the Division website. Unless otherwise stated, opinions expressed by authors, contributors, and advertisers are their own and not necessarily those of APA, Division 56, the editorial staff, or any member of the editorial advisory board.
