Psychological Trauma: Theory, Research, Practice, and Policy (Impact Factor: 2.795) intends to publish a special section in early 2022 that will inform readers on the state of the science in collaborative and conciliatory models; provide examples of effective bidirectional collaborations between trauma research, practice, advocacy, and/or policy beyond the unidirectional translation of science into clinical practice; and offer a roadmap for researchers, clinicians, and policy advocates to more effectually achieve our shared goals of preventing trauma and decreasing its negative effects.
